2025 Sydney Boat Show Attendee Competition

1. Instructions, prizes and information on how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. By entering, entrants accept these conditions of entry.
2. The Promoter is Mulpha Events Pty Ltd, ABN is 24 098 660 336, address is Jabiru House, Masthead Way, Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, Australia 4212. Telephone: (07) 5577 6011. 
3. The promotional period begins at 9:00am on Thursday 19 June 2025 and concludes at 11:59pm on Thursday 31 July 2025.
4. Entries are open to Australian residents, 18 years and older who purchase tickets to attend the 2025 Sydney Boat Show excluding employees of the Promoter and any associated companies, their immediate families or any agents including other advertising, marketing or promotional firms associated with this competition.  
5. The prize is a $5,000.00 (inc GST) voucher redeemable with any Sydney Boat Show Exhibitor at the 2025 Show, for a period of six-months commencing on Friday 8 August 2025.
6. To receive an automatic entry into the promotion, visitors must opt in to receive promotional communications from the organiser when purchasing any ticket for the 2025 Sydney Boat Show online via www.sydneyboatshow.com.au/tickets between 9:00am on 19 June 2025 and 11:59pm on Thursday 31 July 2025. 
7. The winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all valid competition entries received.
8. The draw will take place at 12:00pm on Thursday 7 August 2025 at Jabiru House, 1 Masthead Way, Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, Australia 4212.
9. The winner will be notified by telephone and email by 12:00pm Friday 8 August 2025 and the winner’s name will be published on the Sydney Boat Show Facebook page as well as via the Sydney Boat Show website (www.sydneyboatshow.com.au) by Friday 8 August 2025. In the event of a dispute of the identity of the drawn winner, the winner will be the person named in the purchase of tickets. 
10. If necessary, in order to distribute any prize which is not claimed, a second chance draw will be conducted on Tuesday 2 September 2025, at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written directions given by any relevant regulatory authority. The winner will be notified by email or phone call by Friday 5 September 2025. The winner’s name will be published on the Sydney Boat Show Facebook page as well as via the Sydney Boat Show website (www.sydneyboatshow.com.au) by Sunday 7 September 2024. The prize remains the property of the Promoter until claimed by the winner. 
11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the identification of entrants. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry. 
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained relating to the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in this promotion. 
14. Subject to state regulation, if for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned including infection  by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
15. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. Any personal information collected will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. Personal information may be disclosed to contractors and agents assisting with this promotion or to communicate with entrants. Entrants are able to obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter.
