Getting to the Sydney Boat Show is easy, whether you’re driving or using public transport. Sydney Olympic Park is well-connected by major roads and public transport, with over 10,000 parking spaces available nearby—plus 2-hour free parking for quick visits. Trains run regularly to Olympic Park Station, and extra buses and ferries operate during major events. Coming from out of town? Sydney Airport is just 20 minutes away by car thanks to the new WestConnex link. Plan your trip and make your journey hassle-free.

In a bonus for visitors, tickets to the Sydney Boat Show include travel on trains, metro, and light rail services throughout the event. Attendees simply need to show their event ticket to transport staff when boarding.

Heading to the Sydney Boat Show by car? Sydney Olympic Park is easily accessible via the M4, Victoria Road and Parramatta Road.

Free Short-Stay:
2-hour free parking is available on Grand Parade, Olympic Boulevard and Dawn Fraser Avenue — ideal if you’re popping in for a short visit.

All-Day Parking:
With over 10,000 spaces across the precinct, parking is simple. The closest car parks to the Sydney
Showground are P1, P5 and P6.

Rates: $7/hour, capped at $35/day.

Attending on a peak day? We recommend pre-booking your parking to lock in a space close to the action.
Pre-booked parking is $35/day (single entry and exit).

If you’re driving to the Sydney Boat Show, you’ll find Sydney Olympic Park centrally located and easy to reach from anywhere in Sydney.

Thanks to upgrades like the WestConnex M4 tunnel and Rozelle Interchange, the trip from the CBD now takes around 20 minutes (approx. 16km).

Public transport is one of the easiest ways to get to the Sydney Boat Show.

Train:
Olympic Park Station is right next to the Showground. Catch the T7 line from Lidcombe (services run every 10 minutes), or direct services from Central during major events. 

Tickets to the Sydney Boat Show include travel on trains, metro, and light rail services throughout the event. Attendees simply need to show their event ticket to transport staff when boarding.

Bus:
Regular services run from Lidcombe, Strathfield and Parramatta. Additional buses operate during major events like the Boat Show.

Ferry:
Ferries travel daily between Circular Quay and Parramatta, with a stop at Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. From there, a connecting bus takes you to the Showground.
