  • Hearing Augmentation Systems: All conference and meeting rooms at ICC Sydney are fitted with hearing augmentation systems to ensure clear audio for attendees with hearing impairments. 
  • Visual Aids and Signage: High-contrast and tactile signage are used throughout the venue to assist individuals with visual impairments in navigating the space.

  • Wide Walkways: Main marina walkways are constructed to a greater width to accommodate wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and other aids, ensuring comfortable navigation for all attendees. 
  • Ramps and Lifts: Ramps are used to access the marina, and lifts are available to provide step-free access to different levels of the venue around the Darling Harbour precinct. 
  • Accessible Parking: Designated accessible parking spaces are available close to venue entrances for those with valid disability parking permits. 
  • Public Transportation: Darling Harbour is well-served by accessible public transportation options, including buses, trains, and ferries, ensuring convenient access to the venue.

The Sydney International Boat Show is proud to partner with Sailability, a leading organisation dedicated to providing access to boating for people with ability challenges. This partnership enhances our commitment to inclusivity and provides the following benefits: 

  • Sailability Demonstrations and Workshops: Sailability will host demonstrations and presentations throughout the event, showcasing adaptive boating equipment and techniques that make sailing accessible to individuals with disabilities. 
  • Try Sailing Experiences: Attendees with disabilities will have the opportunity to learn about “Try Sailing” experiences, guided by experienced Sailability volunteers, to safely experience the joys of sailing. 
  • Information and Resources: Dedicated Sailability materials will provide information and resources about accessible boating programs, events, and opportunities available across Australia.
